- Boothe Programming Series: Introduction
This programming series is for beginners who have an interest in learning how write programs that interface with the GNU/Linux operating system. This is intended to be a leisurely series of sessions (perhaps every month, perhaps only one every few months, depending on how much interest is expressed and what other items we have on the agenda in any given month). The series will follow the philosophy expressed at the Teach Yourself Programming In Ten Years website: http://www.norvig.com/21-days.html Material covered in the first session will be drawn primarily from the Preface and portions of the first chapter in the book by Arnold Robbins, Linux Programming by Example, Prentice Hall, 2004.
