Location
The Anna Lemon Wheelock Library (http://wwwv3.tacomapubliclibrary.org/Page.aspx?hid=89) (or Wheelock Library) is located on the edge of the Proctor Business District (http://www.proctorbusinessdistrict.com/) in North Tacoma, at the intersection of N 26th and Washington St. The mailing address is 3722 North 26th Street. Directions
- Take exit 132 off Interstate 5 (toward Gig Harbor / WA-16 / Bremerton).
- Merge onto WA-16 W toward Bremerton / Sprague Ave.
- Take the Union Ave exit.
- Turn right onto S Union Ave and continue for about 2.5 miles

Parking
There is a small library parking lot on Washington St. adjacent to the Library. Parking in front of the library on 26th St is not encouraged and typically hard to do. You are encouraged to drive around and find a spot to park nearby on the street if the library parking lot is full.

Accommodations
- The room can easily seat 50 people, and the room is limited to 100 people in an auditorium setting (no tables). It usually takes about 10 minutes to setup the chairs and tables, and the same to clean up and stash the chairs away.
- You should bring your own power strips and extension cords.
- There is no audio or visual system available.
- There are greasboards/whiteboards to write on though (bring your own pens)

Internet Access
- Open wireless access at the Wheelock Library is available and has been tested. Anyone with a WiFi enabled laptop, PDA or other device should be able to connect subject to range restrictions. A hardwired ethernet connection is not available. Depending on who shows up though and the hardware they bring, it is possible to establish a wireless <-> wired gateway though.
