1:30 - 2:15   State of Linux Part 1: Discussion/overview of distributions
2:30 - 3:30   Alpha Geek Contest -- Chuck Wolber
2:30 - 5:00   State of Linux Part 2: Demos and Install Fest

Much of this meeting is devoted to surveying the Linux landscape and
helping people get the distribution of their choice installed on their
computers.

BRING YOUR PC, your distribution of choice, any project you may be working
on, and show them to the group! Or get help installing Linux on YOUR
machine.

The following people will present pro's, con's, and current
news relating to their Linux distributions of choice:

Gentoo-- Charles Mauch
Slackware-- Joel Parker
Red Hat Linux (Fedora and Enterprise)-- Chris Negus
SUSE-- Ken "Lizard" Hughes
Debian-- TBA

Then, each will demonstrate their chosen operating system and assist
anyone who wants to install that distribution on a computer they bring.
