A ship is a microcosm of society at large. Here on the vessel we have many different people of different backgrounds, styles and tastes. Surveying Adelie Penguins, South Polar Skuas, Giant Petrels, Blue Eyed Shags and Kelp Gulls, they had their hands full...of clicker counters that is. Additionally, they were able to collect diet samples from Adelies in the form of regurgitation. The sample analysis revealed the penguins are eating a combination of krill and fish.
